Paramount California University Calls on Experts to conduct a seminar on wellness progra

IRVINE, Calif. - July 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Paramount California University conducted a seminar in order to create awareness among those individuals who use tobacco and ignore their surroundings. Paramount California University Bachelors Degree program student in Health Sciences conducted a survey in which effects of second hand smoke inhale and its effects were indicated. Study revealed that many people smoke at home and don’t care about kids around them; this habit is affecting children from ages 3 to 10.

The main reason for conducting this conference is to reduce risks of health and promote healthy living among everyone effectively.  Expert in behavior changes introduced a new technique known as motivational speak up. This activity helped people in giving up the habit of smoking indoors and made them think of why they smoke at first place.

Along with that, this conference mentioned the damages that smoking can cause to health of an occasional smoker to a chain smoker, suggesting ways of how to quit smoking. The main reason for people to adapt smoking is stress, and to quit smoking we need to reduce stress.

In this conference experts in well –being discussed a few disadvantages of smoking in detail which were

1.       Smoking in Teenagers

2.       Smoking for Pregnant /Women

3.       Smoking an  Economical damage

4.       Smoking is Bad addiction

5.       Second Hand smoking

These were at the few topics which were taken into consideration, focusing more on the last topic which was second hand smoking. People who attended this conference were motivated to speak about their feeling s and what makes them turn to drugs and smoking rather than solving the problem. Experts indicate that communication reduces stress most effectively.

Interaction can motivate individuals to give up in bad habits and bring change in their lives. Most people are afraid of change and they don’t welcome it. But with right counseling people can be willing to change.
