Mountain View College Presents the 2014 North Texas Innovative Technology and Diversity Summit

 
DALLAS - July 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Mountain View College is pleased to announce that registration is currently underway for the North Texas Innovative Technology and Diversity Summit (NTITDS), which will take place on August 6-7, 2014.  This two-day summit will focus on advances in technology and supplier diversity, and bring together national and local industry leaders, corporate executives, technology experts, entrepreneurs and business owners.

On Wednesday, August 6, 2014, from 7-9 p.m., NTITDS will honor and award outstanding women in technology and the leading innovative small business in North Texas at the Women in Technology and Innovative Small Business Awards Dinner. The 2014 Women in Tech Award Winner is Julie Bugala, vice president of talent management at AT&T. The dinner’s keynote speaker is Caroline Cummings, vice president of business development at Palo Alto software.  Nominations for the 2014 Innovative Small Business Award are currently being accepted and the winner will be announced at the dinner. The Innovative Technology and Diversity Expo and Conference will take place August 7, from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Mountain View College Performance Hall.  The technology expo begins at 10 a.m. and features more than 20 government and corporate exhibitors.  The keynote speaker for the conference will be Yolanda Garcia Olivarez, U.S. Small Business Administration regional administrator.  Additional presenters include:  Trice Johnson, senior architect, Microsoft; Kim Bond Evans, president, Centauri Health; Lea Bogle, president and chief executive officer, Premier Wireless; Shannon Booty, senior principle architect, Raytheon; and John Adler, vice president - procurement, Dallas Area Rapid Transit.
