Mountain View College to Host Jump Start Your Career with LinkedIn Event and Rally

DALLAS - Sept. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, September 30, 2014, Mountain View College will host the Jump Start Your Career with LinkedIn Event and Rally, hosted by business and career strategist Ron Nash. Sponsored by Cengage Learning, the one-day event will be comprised of an executive luncheon, student seminar, meet and greet, and presentation to the faculty, staff and community on how to use the popular business-oriented social networking service, LinkedIn to further their career and networking efforts.

This event is one of many the college will hold in an effort to meet the needs of its students and the Dallas County Community College District’s (DCCCD) 2015 strategic priorities. These priorities include emphasizing student support services such as life skills and workplace fundamentals, supporting job opportunities through preparation of students, and bridging access to jobs and business development in communities for local hiring.

Ron Nash is a LinkedIn whisperer, headhunter, author, NLP therapist, TV personality, and business and career strategist. His expertise has helped Fortune 50 to 500 companies, and he has taught his LinkedIn methodologies at a number of educational institutions. His expertise in helping individuals achieve success has landed him in collaborations with Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer), Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Don Miguel Ruiz, and Brian "Mr. UGG" Smith (Founder of UGG Boots).
