Authors John Fund and Hans A. von Spakovsky to speak about the politicization of Eric Holder’s DOJ

LAS VEGAS - July 25, 2014 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS (July 25, 2014) – The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), under the leadership of Attorney General Eric Holder, has come under great criticism, making it the subject of numerous Congressional investigations and most recently, a new book: “Obama’s Enforcer.”  On Monday, Aug. 11, the book’s authors will share their insight and commentary on the politicization of the DOJ under the Obama Administration at a special luncheon hosted by the Las Vegas Chapter of the Federalist Society.

“Obama’s Enforcer” details how the DOJ has seemingly become a hotbed of left-wing legal activism. The book delves into the close personal association of Holder and Obama, describes the politicization of the Department of Justice, and provides in-depth portraits of the lawyers in Holder’s inner circle. Endorsed by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and radio talk show host Mark Levin, the book, released just last month, is the first investigative look inside the country's largest law enforcement agency and the first attorney general in history to be held in contempt by the House of Representatives, but retain his position.

General admission to the luncheon is $45. State, county and city attorneys as well as students are invited to attend at a discounted rate of $35 per person. Members of the media are invited to attend the luncheon at no cost.
