Nobby recorded many other hits with The Bay City Rollers and also wrote songs for the group, all of which have appeared on at least 24 albums sold worldwide over a 40-year period. Although Nobby left the Rollers in 1974, his recordings are still being released today. Even with the wild success of his music, this rock pioneer has not been given the recognition or royalty payments from the millions of worldwide record sales.

His legal battle for money due to him in the New York courts ended in 2013, with a ruling that the statute of   limitations expired, and the case was dismissed. The Lost Roller is not a pretty story, but it does offer a fascinating look behind the scenes of the music business.

About the Author

First-time author Nobby Clark was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. “I am a recovering alcoholic. My addiction left me homeless and penniless. I’ve fought and lost against drug and gambling addictions before I found the help I needed, and have been clean and sober for 15 years.” He is currently a singer, songwriter, and producer. “I spend a lot of my time working in the community on projects to improve the lives of people in social housing. I work with alcoholics to help them get into recovery.”
