“Amazing London” A New Concept in Guide Books for the under 14s

TWICKENHAM, U.K. - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Longshot Ventures launches a new concept in guide books. Most guide books are written for adults, this is written for 8-14 year olds. It is packed with interesting facts, things to look out for and great photos.

This guide book covers all the places parents are going to take their family but is written for the under fourteens. It is has the history of key places and has full page photos annotated with facts and things to look out for. It is a unique approach to a guide book that appeals to the 8 to 14 year olds as it feeds their need for facts and history in an easily accessible way. The guide book can be read like a history book or used as a traditional guide book.

History lives in London’s streets and wherever you go or look there are things worth seeing “Amazing London” gives you the information and history about the things a person is seeing.

THE AUTHOR

Tagore Ramoutar has lived in London for over 18 years but it still retains the magic usually associated with a new city. He firmly believes London is one of the world’s greatest cities. He loves walking across Hungerford Bridge and seeing the view of St Paul’s and the City. He remembers the first time he got a Sunday Paper at 10pm on a Saturday night outside Waterloo railway station - Sunday’s news a day early! He now has two young children and is enjoying discovering London again and again.

Tagore has also written two food guide books “10 places to eat London” and “10 places to eat Tokyo”. 10 Places to eat is also a new concept in restaurant and food guides. Each guide focuses on just 10 restaurants and one dish per restaurant – each dish is traditional to that city or country.
