A Day of Recycling Electronic Appliances at Novotel Century Hong Kong

Aug. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- In order to increase the awareness of hotel employees on practicing the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, Novotel Century Hong Kong initiated a “Recycling Electronic Appliances Day” and organized a recycling company to collect electronic appliances from the Hotel on 2 August.

There was a total of 83 pieces of electronic appliances collected from different departments in the hotel. They included 79 mini-bar fringes, a microwave oven, a hair dryer, a printer and a scanner.

It is hoped that this action will engage the hotel employees on recycling old electronic waste and further strengthen the spirit of sustainable development.
