The New 2 Megapixel VCA Cameras

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. - Aug. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- LT Security Inc. recently added the new 2 megapixel VCA cameras to the LTS CMIP camera line. The Video Content Analysis (VCA) add new features like Face Detection, Traversing Virtual Plane, Intrusion Detection, and Scene Change Detection to an already robust arsenal of features for the LTS CMIP series.

Face Detection takes snapshots of instances when a face is detected on the screen, and saved on your NVR. The detection radius can be adjusted so you can capture any face at the right distance, without having to worry about background noise interfering with the detection. This is great for high security areas or high vulnerability areas that only allow certain individuals to access by tracking faces of personnel who have been in and out of a given area.

To secure restricted areas even more, the Traversing Virtual Plane feature allows you to detect track and keep track of when objects traverse in a given direction on your monitor. The direction and size of the object can be adjusted to filter out background noise and movement. Objects that traverse past the given detection line will be captured and stored as an alerted event.

Intrusion Detection adds yet another line of security by capturing and notifying when areas of interest have movement or change. These areas are then captured and stored into your NVR. The area and size of detection can be adjusted through your NVR to help filter out background movement, and can hold up to 4 different regions at a time, just like the Traversing Virtual Plane feature.

To help secure the camera itself, Scene Change Detection alerts and captures instances where major changes in scenery has occurred. Most notably, when camera angles have been changed, the camera has been bumped or jarred, or large objects have been moved around.
