Community of Haliburton Extends 10 Year Wastewater Contract with ASI Group for Additional five years

HALIBURTON, Ontario - Aug. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- ST. CATHARINES, ON, August 14, 2014 – The Municipality of Dysart (http://www.dysartetal.ca/) and their partner, Dysart Facility Limited Partnership, have renewed their contract with Water and Wastewater Management Company, ASI Water to operate and maintain the wastewater collection and treatment system for the community of Haliburton. This is the third consecutive renewal and extends their existing ten year relationship for an additional five years until 2019.

ASI Water (http://asi-group.com/en/water), a full-service engineering and operations company providing hands-on scientific and technical services for water and wastewater projects worldwide, and currently serving the community of Haliburton and their partner as operations contractors for their wastewater treatment plant and collection system of 12 sewage pumping stations and forcemains.

In 2004, ASI began their scope of work with the Municipality of Dysart et al and their partner, Dysart Facility, by providing single point responsibility on all aspects of the wastewater facilities, including the design and build of the upgrades the main pumping stations. Under this approach, the Municipality and their partner were able to complete the work in a shorter time frame than conventional methods, and because of ASI’s in house engineering expertise, the Municipality and their partner saved money carrying out the capital budget work. ASI also assisted the Township with sourcing and approving additional land for biosolids application.
