hazardous areas in which other electronic devices are not approved for use (such as petroleum refineries, dry cleaning plants, aircraft hangars, and others), and opens new markets for the tablets and RFID readers.
Motion’s EasyConnect UHF RFID Long-Range Reader is powered by SkyeTek’s M9 module (http://www.skyetek.com/

and utilizes a custom UHF RFID antenna design from SkyeTek. The M9 module allowed Motion to speed their development process and take the EasyConnect to market more quickly, and the SkyeTek’s antenna design services helped Motion leverage SkyeTek’s unique expertise in the RFID field to create the most effective antenna within their constraints.
SkyeTek’s sister company, Oil and Gas RFID Solution Group (OGR,
http://rfidsolutiongroup.org/) plans to use the Motion Tablets and EasyConnect RFID Reader in its upcoming deployments. Daniel Frydenlund, Chairman of SkyeTek’s parent company, the Stage Fund, says “Motion’s Tablet and the RFID reader are a great system for OGR’s end customer. The system is much more powerful than a simple handheld RFID reader; the tablet runs full Windows 8, and the RFID reader seamlessly integrates. The ease of use of the tablet and the performance of the RFID reader combine to create a great user experience and exceed our expectations.”
