La Porte des Indes is acknowledged by the Spice Awards 2014

Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- La Porte des Indes has been selected for inclusion in the Spice Awards 2014! Calling La Porte “London’s finest destination for Indian cuisine, with a distinctly French difference”, the entry goes on to pay tribute to La Porte’s longevity, praising its 18 years of excellence. They then hail the “high-end, sophisticated food” on offer at La Porta, choosing the the Patra Ni Machi (Parsee steamed fish) as one of the highlights. The Spice Awards also takes time to appreciate the care and effort that went into La Porte’s ambience which, they say, makes you feel “as if you’re a guest at a Maharaja’s palace”. It is a combination of all these details, they conclude, that has made La Porte a “much-loved institution on London’s highly competitive restaurant scene”.

Showcasing ‘the very best of Asian cuisine in Britain’, the Spice Awards focuses on restaurants that have already received one or more awards for excellence. Of the more than 9500 sub-continental restaurants in Britain, only a few hundred qualify for inclusion in the annual Spice Awards publication.
