La Porte des Indes, an Indian restaurant in London, was happy to help out the Thai Children’s Trust!

LONDON - July 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Have you heard about the Thai Children’s Trust? They’re the largest charity registered in the UK that supports disadvantaged children across Thailand. They work with our Thai partners (http://www.blueelephant.com/london/) on the ground directly supporting orphanages, HIV positive children, children with disabilities or living on the streets as well as children of migrants to Thailand from surrounding countries. Their work on behalf of the underprivileged and underserved is extremely important, vital and worthy of praise and recognition.

As an Indian restaurant in London (http://www.laportedesindes.com/london/), La Porte des Indes is proud to have been able to play a part in their fundraising efforts at the recent Taste of London 2015 event, which turned out to be a huge success! Over £3000 was raised for the cause, and it was also a great boost to public awareness. For an organisation such as the Thai Children’s Trust, that greater awareness is just as important as the funds, as more people need to know about their efforts on behalf of disadvantaged children in Thailand to be able to contribute to the cause and spread the word further.
