Made to Measure Doors with Edge Design

They convinced the 30-member jury of international experts with their door design edge for non- rebated internal doors. In the door design edge of the product brand HGM is a transversely real wood veneer strips or a colour strip that is inserted into the edge of a white lacquered made to measure doors (http://doors4uk.co.uk/). On both sides of the edge a narrow line remains in white the door surface obtained. This creates an accentuated design element that is deliberately visible only with the door open. “They have proven with this thoughtful and innovative design that you compete against the best in your industry and see a high-level, independent jury said”, said the competition with the Design Centre North Rhine-Westphalia, organizing the campaign. The awards ceremony took place on 2 July 2012 more than 1,000 guests from business, politics and media in Essen. Then the door design edge of Grauthoff alongside the other winners reddot design have been exposed in a museum where the products can be seen.
