Andrea J. Serie Joins Tully & Winkelman, P.c. As Its Elder Care Coordinator

MELVILLE, N.Y. - Aug. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Brian Andrew Tully, Esq. of the firm Tully & Winkelman, P.C. (http://estateplanning-elderlaw.com/) has announced that Andrea J. Serie, BSW, MPA, has joined the firm as its Elder Care Coordinator. In her new role, she will be responsible for helping the firm’s Life Care Planning clients and their families identify and solve any problems they may have regarding care and coordinate the services they may need.

Ms. Serie has more than 19 years of experience working with senior citizens and their families in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities, where she frequently served on the Comprehensive Care Planning team. She is also experienced in Long Term Care, Sub-Acute Rehab, Respiratory/Vent care units and Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia care. Prior to joining Tully & Winkelman, P.C., she spent seven-and-a-half years as a Case Manager and Discharge Planner for the Smithtown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care.

A resident of Commack, Ms. Serie has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from Bloomsburg University and a Master’s in Public Administration from C.W. Post University with a concentration in Long Term Care and Geriatrics. She is also a New York State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
