Coming-of-age Romance Novel to be released on October 1, 2014

NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Author Rachel York has announced that an updated edition of her coming-of-age LGBT novel, ‘Chasing Lightning’, will be released on October 1, 2014. ‘Chasing Lightning’ was first published in 2003 by Kensington Books. The author has recently got the rights back, and now the story has new, updated content, and a beautiful cover that will look amazing on the readers’ bookshelves. The novel will be published under Susurrus Publications imprint.

It tells the story of a young woman, Scarlett Turner, who lives in the small town of Dillinger, Pennsylvania, and can’t wait to go to college and leave everything behind. Rachel York created two complex, well-developed characters with unique personalities. While Scarlett is well-grounded, yet sometimes romantic and dreamy, Gina is like a force of nature: strong, sexy, confident.
