Tony Award-winner Patina Miller to perform at Adelphi University

Broadway, television and film star helps launch AUPACs fall season.
 
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Sept. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Adelphi University’s Performing Arts Center (AUPAC) welcomes Patina Miller for a concert on Friday, September 19, 2014. The show will be performed in the AUPAC Concert Hall, 1 South Avenue, Garden City beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Ms. Miller is the winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Pippin. Her first Broadway show, Sister Act, earned her nominations for both Tony and Olivier Awards and Variety has called her “a nonstop dynamo discovery.” In addition to her stage and concert work, she can be seen this fall on the new CBS drama, Madam Secretary. Ms. Miller is also featured in the upcoming final two films of The Hunger Games series, Mockingjay, Parts 1 and 2 playing the part of Commander Paylor.

The intimate evening performance at Adelphi will feature a wide range of music, from classic R&B to Broadway, and standards.

Ticket prices begin at $40. VIP tickets featuring special seating can be purchased for $70.
