By: Ballet in Cleveland VIP guests will receive the opportunity to be photographed on the red carpet with choreographer Joshua Beamish, fashion designer B Michael, and the dancers and musicians from the production. The cast of The Ashley Bouder Project includes New York City Ballet (NYCB) prima ballerina Ashley Bouder, fellow NYCB principal Amar Ramasar, and NYCB Corps de Ballet dancers Emily Kikta, Sebastian Villarini, Peter Walker and Indiana Woodward. Portside Distillery, Cleveland's first distillery-brewery, and Driftwood Restaurant Group's Bin 216 are joining forces to present VIP gatherings before the show, during a cocktail intermission, and following the show that will enable guests to mingle with stars of the production. Both pre and post show events will be catered by Bin 216, offering gourmet small plate appetizers at the pre-show event, as well as specialty desserts at the post-show reception. VIP guests will enjoy ballet-themed cocktails handcrafted by Bin 216's Beverage Director, David Haynes, who will also be bartending. Portside's rum and craft beer will be exclusively served, along with the Reserve Fouette Pinot Grigio and Arabesque Cabernet Sauvignon, Ballet in Cleveland's private label wines vinted by Firelands Winery. Fashion Couture designer B Michael, of B Michael America Advanced American Style will be present, along with B Michael America Co-Founder and CEO Mark-Anthony Edwards. B Michael designed the costumes for the World Premiere ballet, choreographer Joshua Beamish's Rouge et Noir. This is B Michael's first foray into costume design. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for VIP guests at Bin 216, 1515 Euclid Avenue, located directly across from the Ohio Theatre lobby at Playhouse Square. VIP guests will have access to Bin 216 during intermission, as well as for the post-show reception with the cast and collaborators of The Ashley Bouder Project. Tickets are $100 and may be purchased through the Playhouse Square Box Office online, by calling 216-241-6000, or by calling Ballet in Cleveland at 330-285-5779. Fewer than 50 VIP tickets remain. About The Ashley Bouder Project A Cleveland audience will be the first to witness some of ballet’s top talents as The Ashley Bouder Project: An Exposé on Ballet Style debuts at the Ohio Theatre, Playhouse Square at 8:00 p.m., October 25, 2014. The production will feature Ashley Bouder, Principal Dancer with the New York City Ballet and other stars from this world renowned dance company. The performance is being made possible in-part by a generous donation from Forest City Enterprises. The first act will feature grand classical and neoclassical works by ballet legends Marius Petipa and George Balanchine. The second act boasts a world premiere to the music of Shostakovich. Dancers will perform to new choreography created for the project by Joshua Beamish, artistic director of MOVE: the company. Costumes are being created by B Michael of B Michael America, Advanced American Style.
