Starting Point Staffing Opens Its Doors October 1, 2014 Helping Disabled U.S. Army Veterans

DALLAS - Sept. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Starting Point Staffing will open its doors for business October 1, 2014 with a new vision and intention. The Company is the brainchild of owner Denise Gee Uzzelle who is a wife and caregiver of a disabled U.S. Army Veteran suffering from PTSD, TBI and other injuries. Starting Point Staffing is committed to providing Five Star Customer Service and takes pride in not being just another staffing agency. The Company is dedicated to working with other companies who need staffing and who are serious about their dedication to helping veterans find work.

Starting Point Staffing provides temporary, temp-to-perm and direct hire employees for admin, customer service, light industrial, management and professional roles.  The staffing formula for Veterans came from the firsthand knowledge and experience Denise Gee Uzzelle had and many others understand. “There is a real issue and difficulty for veterans to land jobs” states Denise.  “Having lived it, the goal for Starting Point is to be a conduit of connection for veterans and employers” she goes on to say. “This includes an importance on women and younger veterans who have had recent unemployment rates of up to 21%. The Company goal is connecting phenomenal employees with great companies.“

Starting Point Staffing serves companies in DFW, specifically Southwest Dallas, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster and surrounding areas.  The Company uses video and technology to expedite the employment process, and offers over a decade of Human Resource expertise. This August 2014, Starting Point partnered with the City of Dallas to host a small business seminar.  The Company taught 15 start-up business owners how to do business with the City and provided key considerations in determining when they are hiring W-2 employees verses contractors, which is a touchy IRS issue for new companies.  Starting Point Staffing hopes to partner with other municipalities to offer similar events to small businesses throughout Southwest Dallas County.
