Conti Jewelers Marks a Historic Anniversary

ENDICOTT, N.Y. - Sept. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- For nearly eight decades, the Conti Jewelers name has been synonymous with fine jewelry and timepieces in New York State’s Southern Tier region. This month, the Conti family will mark the occasion at their Endwell store located at 532 Hooper Road with a brief Multi-million Dollar Inventory Liquidation Event that includes a tremendous collection of fine jewelry and designer gems. The event opens to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18^th.

When company founder William Conti opened the doors to his new firm in 1938, the world was on the brink of war and mired in a recession; however, Conti’s expertise and the quality of his wares saw him through those difficult first years and helped him to build a stellar reputation in the area while growing the firm. According to Ellen Conti, the owner and operator of the business, “Although much has changed since Uncle Bill’s time, the traditions he established continue to form the foundation of our business today. After almost 80 years in business, we have accumulated an inventory of incredible size, diversity and interest. Regretfully, that means we have a huge excess inventory. To make matters worse, our aggressive purchases of new merchandise at this year’s jewelry shows have compounded the matter. To solve it, we decided to conduct a relatively brief, but huge, inventory liquidation sale. The sale will help to solidify our financial position for the generation to come.”

Conti and her staff scoured the company’s vaults to cull the multi-million dollar collection of quality diamonds, diamond engagement rings and colored gemstone jewelry offered in the sale. During this once-in-a-lifetime event, everything in the Conti inventory will be offered at sacrifice prices–as much as 60% off original ticketed prices. Everything must be sold.
