BET HipHop Awards 2014 Performance Date

Atlanta’s own and “King of the South,” T.I. returns to the BET “HIP HOP AWARDS” stage for what is destined to be another exhilarating performance at hip-hop’s biggest night in television along with Mike Will and Teeflii who have been added to perform.

Once again the long awaited “Hip Hop Awards” cyphers, sponsored by Sprite® and MetroPCS®, returns with Smack, founder of Ultimate Rap League, hosting the biggest televised rap battle highlighting today’s top selling and up-and-coming artist.

The 2014 cyphers feature Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Ty Dolla Sign, Tuki, Berner, Chevy Woods, Lil’ Mama, G. Eazy, Kevin Gates, Genesis, Loaded Lux, Troy Ave., Dee-1, Logic, Detroit Che, DJ Scratch, David Banner, Vic Mensa, Treach, Snow tha Product, Remy Ma, Papoose, King Los, Corey Charron, T-Rex, Rain 910, Tsu Surf, Goodz, Dreezy, Dillon Cooper, Two-9, Andy Mineo, Jarren Benton, Emilio Rojas and Conceited.

The BET “Hip Hop Awards” will feature a special appearance from French Montana and Michael K. Williams and Erica Ash will join previously announced talent Nelly and Teyana Taylor as presenters.

Stephen G. Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials, Lynne Harris Taylor, BET’s Vice President of Specials, will serve as Executive Producers for the BET “HIP HOP AWARDS,” along with Jesse Collins, CEO of Jesse Collins Entertainment.

Taping of the awards show will take place at Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, September 20, 2014 and will premiere on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The “Real Husbands of Hollywood” Season 3 Premiere will follow directly after, at 10:00 p.m. ET.

BET “HIP HOP AWARDS” 2014 will also premiere on Friday, October 17, 2014 on BET’s international network in the UK and Africa, reaching more than 17 million households in 50+ countries (check local listings).
