Little Caesars Love Kitchen Rolls into Portsmouth and Norfolk

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Serving to make a difference in communities across the United States, Little Caesars Pizza 's Love Kitchen has rolled into the Hampton Roads Area.

The “Love Kitchen” is a mobile pizza kitchen designed to feed a large number of people, while still maintaining the company’s “Hot ‘n Ready” philosophy.  The “Love Kitchen”, an award-winning, nationally recognized program, provided a delicious and nutritious hot meal for families who otherwise might not have had anything to eat that day.

Today in Portsmouth and over the next 2 days in Norfolk, Little Caesars of Portsmouth and two Norfolk locations (E. Little Creek and Military Highway) owned by franchisee Cutting Edge Pizza, will provide pizzas for up to 775 people!

The “Love Kitchen” is supported by Little Caesars franchise owners.  They donate the product and volunteer eager employees willing to help for each “Love Kitchen” serving. Volunteers all come from the 3 locations located in Portsmouth on Victory Blvd, and on E. Little Creek Rd and Military Hwy in Norfolk. Each location also donated all the ingredients for the pizzas to be made on-site.

Little Caesar’s Pizza recognizes that every day, in every city in America there are families who go to bed hungry.  The “Love Kitchen” is their possible solution to that problem.  As “Love Kitchen” events have shown in the past, any effort towards helping those in need is immensely appreciated.   Since its beginning, the “Love Kitchen” has increased its amount of people from 100 to 500 people per serving, a number that is expected to continue to grow.  The “Love Kitchen” operates by the words, “Serving to Make a Difference” and Little Caesar’s Pizza hopes that they may show, by example, how feasible it is for other nationwide food franchises to help feed those in need.
