Jason David Frank and Bat In The Sun to release a new action packed special ops web series

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- This coming Winter 2014, Actor and MMA fighter Jason David Frank partners up with Aaron Schoenke and Bat in the Sun, the company behind "Super Power Beat Down" and many other popular action shorts, to bringing a special ops web series that promises to be action packed.

Jason David Frank is well-known for his role of Tommy Oliver in the long-running children's television show Power Rangers.  His character has morphed into the most different power rangers in the show's twenty year history. He first morphed on the scene as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, a bad boy turned good, who after only ten episodes was intended to be written out of the show. However, due to his popularity, Jason David Frank's character was able to morph into the Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Red Zeo, Red Turbo and then returned in 2004 as the Black DinoThunder Ranger.

Throughout Power Ranger history, Jason David Frank's character has appeared in 225 total episodes and counting, more episodes than any other ranger. He also starred in the series both full-length movies, "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie" (1995) and "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie" (1997). In 2013, Jason David Frank reprised his role of the Green Ranger in the Power Ranger's 20th Anniversary season, which features a mega war that features many rangers from the show's history. With his dynamic screen presence and outstanding martial arts, he has catapulted Tommy to legendary fame in the Power Ranger fandom and to this day maintains a fan base that stretches around the world.

Jason David Frank will star in this special ops web series. The series named Taz Kayden: Operation Black Unicorn will be Jason David Frank’s first action web series. Others who will join him are former WWE wrestler, John Morrison, fellow Power Ranger cast member Jason Faunt, and Kevin Porter, a frequent star of Bat in the Sun’s many fan films.

In recent interviews, Jason David Frank describes his fight scenes in the black ops web series as “the best fight scenes he’s ever filmed.” This speaks highly of the action we will witness in the web series especially since, Jason David Frank is not only an actor, but a seventh degree Black belt and an undefeated MMA fighter. Jason David Frank exclusively tells us that, “Not only are the fight scenes amazing, we add more than just kicking and punching. There are flaming sword fights, gun shots and I even get chased by a fighter air jet.” He will not tell us more and just encourages us to wait and see, but he assures us we will not be disappointed.

If you cannot wait for the upcoming action packed special ops series, Taz Kayden: Operation Black Unicorn, you can catch Jason David Frank on his first collaboration with Bat in the Sun, where he participated in one of Sun’s most popular episodes of superhero versus superhero showdown, White Ranger vs. Scorpion. In the episode, the White Ranger faces Scorpion in a fight to the death. He will star in another upcoming episode where Frank’s Green Ranger will face Street Fighter’s Ryu.

Currently Jason David Frank opens the door of his home and life to his fans in his reality show, My Morphin Life. Season one of My Morphin Life features him breaking a world record, training in Thailand, jumping out of a hot air balloon, reuniting with former Power Rangers cast members, teaching martial arts, and more.
