Professor Majid Naini is truly a rare treasure in this world. He is a mesmerizing speaker, acclaimed author and poet, prominent scientist and inventor, peace advocate, and one of the world’s foremost Rumi scholars and translators. Dr. Naini earned a B.S. in Electronics Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, where he graduated first in his class. Professor Naini was awarded a highly prestigious Teaching Fellowship and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from University of Pennsylvania, the renowned ivy-league university and birthplace of the first electronic general-purpose computer in the world. Dr. Naini has been a Professor, Department Chair, and Dean at major universities throughout the world, such as University of Pennsylvania, University of Hawaii, American University in Cairo, Sultan Qaboos University, Colorado, Florida, etc. He has held the rank of a Full Professor at four major universities throughout the world.
