Always maintain the flow of good deed

It is a universal aspect that one has to work to earn the livelihood for him and for his family members but a person, realizing the significance of his life, must restrict his desires towards wealth.

UDAIPUR, India - Oct. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Although, every person is fully aware about the fact that he or she has to depart from this world empty handedly.  In spite of this, he or she gets himself or herself constrained in earning the wealth to such a great extent that he or she fails to understand the significance of his or her life and loose it in a hurry.

A person was quite satisfied with his ordinary business. He, on a regular basis, used to lit a lamp before the statue of Goddess Laxmi and pray for the welfare of his family members and offer chapattis to a cow and a dog and didn’t allow any guest leave his place empty handedly. Gradually, his business prospered with the blessings of the ‘Goddess Laxmi. As his business gained momentum, he started paying less attention towards his family members and left the work of offering chapattis to the cow and dog on the shoulders of his servant. ‘Happiness &Prosperity’ could easily be witnessed around him all the time. So, he stopped realizing the necessity of lighting a lamp before the idol of Goddess Laxmi demanding anything. His coffer (tijori) was overloaded with wealth. He had every type of luxury in life.

One day lying on the bed he was busy in evaluating his supremacy when he heard the foot-fall sound of someone. He hesitantly asked, ’who is there? ‘He got the reply, ‘Death’. The shadow got sunked in thought, but he turned restless. Within a span of few days, his complexion lost its glow. He came in the grip of a disease. His business, too, suffered badly due to his ill health. His family members took him to a saint. The saint heard everything and advised him to collect the wealth from one hand and spend from the other and also asked him not to tighten the fist. He immediately understood the meaningful indication of the saint. He started spending some part of his earning for the welfare of the poor and the oppressed humanity. He again started lighting the lamp before the idol of Goddess Laxmi and offering chapattis to dogs & cows.  He got rid of all his fear. His life again started witnessing signs of prosperity.

Friends! There are many people who believe that with whatever they have been blessed is not enough.  They are always in want of having more &more. There is no end to this desire. On the contrary, we can also witness many other people who always remain attentive in serving ‘specially abled’, destitute, helpless and the needy persons even at the cost of making reductions in their requirements. They are neither bothered about the bewilderment of fame nor do they have the desire for glory. The ‘Almighty’ bless them with lot of wealth. We are blessed with the grandeur of wealth when we maintain the flow of wealth for welfare activities.  The flowing water is considered auspicious and a thirsty person gets rid of his thirst through it. Hence, we must make an attempt in utilizing our wealth for the welfare of the ‘specially abled’, deprived, poor and the needy brothers & sisters. The ‘Almighty’ shall be pleased with the feeling of service and righteous acts and one shall then prosper and witness that his basic requirements are fulfilled  automatically with the blessings of the ‘Almighty.
