LCEC signs on as a Platinum sponsor for FPRA Southwest Florida Chapter

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Oct. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- LCEC has signed on as a Platinum sponsor for the Southwest Florida Public Relations Association, and other area businesses now have the opportunity to do the same. Five levels of annual sponsorship are available, ranging from $250 to $1,500. The sponsorships support the chapter in offering its superb programs, opportunities, and networking events, and provide varying levels of marketing and public relations exposure for sponsors.

FPRA Southwest Florida sponsors are leaders in the community, and LCEC has gone above and beyond in its support, exceeding the previous Premium sponsorship and paving the way for the new Platinum Level. Pledging an annual contribution, the not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative hopes to inspire other organizations to step forward with their support.

Karen Ryan, APR, CPRC, is LCEC’s public relations manager and a past president of the Southwest Florida chapter of FPRA. She said, “LCEC has been a longtime supporter of FPRA because of the developmental opportunities for LCEC employees, and also for the profession itself.”

In addition to the annual sponsorships, many organizations take advantage of the chapter’s special event sponsorships for occasions such as PR University, the Media Breakfast and the holiday mixer. In addition to leadership status, sponsors enjoy networking with FPRA members, who work for some of the area’s largest businesses and organizations. Because of the nature of public relations, these are some of the most well connected professionals in Southwest Florida.

Sponsors receive acknowledgement in news releases, complimentary event admission, event table displays, opportunities to address the membership, electronic and print marketing and more, depending on level.
