October 18 is Sweetest Day, a day to recognize the sweethearts in our lives. And the Alamo Metro Chorus (AMC) – with a little help from their friend Nikki Young – is celebrating with a day of sweet music.

On Sunday, October 19, the barbershop chorus will hold its annual fundraiser, Fiesta....AMC Style. Young will serve as emcee, and the day will feature:

* Vocal performances by SoundWise Quartet, Essence Quartet, Fourmost Quartet, Head over Heels Quartet, and The Marcsmen
* Dance performances by Semeneya/NRG and Urban-15
* Food trucks from Cheesy Jane's and Mr. Meximum
* And more

Funds raised will support AMC as it travels to Baltimore, Maryland in November, to participate in the international Harmony Classic competition.

Young also hosted AMC's 25th anniversary celebration in 2013.
