Birmingham AMA to host Regions Financial EVP Michele Elrod at October Luncheon

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Oct. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- The Birmingham chapter of the American Marketing Association will host Regions Financial Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing Michele Elrod at their luncheon on October 15. Elrod will share Regions’ mission, the thrill of creating a new brand and the role of the iconic bike, how Regions is better connecting with customers, and Regions’ commitment to communities through financial education and sponsorships.

Elrod has been a marketing professional for nearly 35 years, 30 of those in the ever-changing banking industry. In her words, “Today, marketing offers more opportunities than ever before to support your company and ensure that marketing is a revenue center.”

She earned her master’s degree from the University of Alabama School of Communication and Information Services, where she was recently recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Alumna in Advertising. The Birmingham Business Journal honored Elrod as a top CMO in the 2014 C-suite awards. She currently serves in the University Of Alabama Culverhouse School Of Commerce Mentor Program and is a member of the Culverhouse Board of Visitors.
