Kramer 50 years later50 years ago Dee Elias and her friends were swept up into Beatlemania like millions of other teens and after writing a book about her escapades, Dee found time to right a wrong at the L.A. Fest for Beatles Fans last week by returning a sock.
By: MoonGlow PR The whole story was told on stage before a crowded ballroom and a somewhat surprised Billy J. Kramer during an interview and the whole event was caught on video: http://youtu.be/ Dee Elias was 14 years old in 1964 and she had a secret that she kept safely tucked away in her diaries. After 50 years, she’s finally decided it was the right time to tell the world in her new book, Confessions of a Beatlemanic, exactly how far she went to finally meet the Beatles. Billy J. Kramer is a pop singer who, in the 1960s, was managed by Brian Epstein, who also managed the Beatles. He recorded several original Lennon and McCartney compositions. Confessions of a Beatlemaniac takes the reader on Dee’s personal journey (and antics) to try to meet the Beatles. Along the way, she tells of her encounters with Billy J. Kramer, Sonny and Cher, and Simon and Garfunkel. For more information about Dee Elias and her book, go to: www.ConfessionsOfABeatlemaniac.com. For interviews, email: jennifer@moonglowpr.com End
