Smolak Farms Pumpkin Smash Festival

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Oct. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- WHAT: On Saturday, November 1st, 2014 from 11:00AM – 5:00PM, Smolak Farms in North Andover, MA will hold their 2nd Annual Pumpkin Smash Festival. Now that Halloween is over, it’s time to get rid of those pumpkins and what better way than with a satisfying smash. The festival will include pumpkin bowling, pumpkin darts, mallet smashing, and more. Kids are invited to the Kids Zone which includes a mini pumpkin smash, bouncy house, and super slide. Little Spouts will be on hand giving out goodies and doing face painting as well. Guests are encouraged to BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin), although there will be additional pumpkins available for purchase at the farm. In addition to the smashing, there will also be an enormous Corn Maze.

After working up an appetite from all of their hard work, guests can head over to the food court to enjoy delicious food provided by Salvatore’s restaurants. For those guests who are 21 and older, Harpoon Brewery will be pouring refreshing, cold brews in the beer tent.

The event is family friendly, non-edible pumpkins are used and all left over pumpkin material will be added to the Smolak Farms compost pile aiding in the growth of new crops.
