MIAMI - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- The first Ladies of Manure calendar was launched in 2013, and after millions of media impressions, there was a high demand for another release. Therefore, after several meetings, much planning and enjoyable hard work, they are finally ready to bring the 2015 edition to the world.
For those new to this endeavor, composting is simply nature’s method of turning food scraps, paper and other organic material back into soil. And not just any soil, but rich, nutrient dense soil needed for strong and healthy plants.

Don’t be fooled by the glitz and glam portrayed in these photos. Fertile Earth is very serious about this miracle called Composting. What people need to understand is, in nature there is no such thing as waste; waste is something we as humans have created. And as the saying goes, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”  The U.S. is known to be one of the most wasteful countries on the plant, generating over 36 million tons of food waste in 2012 alone, according to the EPA.  “It’s easier than we think to feed people, animals and the soil instead of landfills.  But it all starts with being just a little more conscious of what we’re doing.  And that is exactly what this calendar is all about,” said Fertile Earth co-founder Lanette Sobel.
Fertile Earth is seeking $10,000 in funding by October 31, 2014 to get these calendars finished, printed and distributed.  To learn more and donate to this worthwhile cause, please visit Kickstarter Campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1569583232/ladies-of...).  A small donation of $25 will reserve you a copy.  Sponsorship opportunities are still available for just $1,000.
