The 24th Annual Divas Simply Singing Exclusive Gifting Suite & Lounge

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Actress/AIDS activist Sheryl Lee Ralph founder of the Diva Foundation in conjunction with Infinite Scope PR celebrated the 24th year of Divas Simply Singing with an exclusive Divas gifting suite one day prior to the big show. The private, invite only event was held Friday, October 17, 2014 at the NightBird Recording Studios located on the lower level of the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Hollywood from 11:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

Each year, top performers unite with actress Sheryl Lee Ralph to lend their talent and support to help raise awareness and funds in the fight against HIV/AIDS. In appreciation for their time and talent, performers and presenters are invited to attend a private Divas Gift Suite complete with food, drinks and fabulous gifts fit for a Diva and a Divo (male performer).

“The idea of producing a gifting suite came five years ago when we were trying to find something amazing to do to show our appreciation for these performers who selflessly donate their time and talent in this ongoing fight. We wanted to create an environment where they could fellowship with each other in a relaxed setting with good food and plenty of gifts”, says Reid Johnson of Infinite Scope PR.

This year’s gifting suite was sponsored by Infinite Scope PR, the Divas Foundation and Belle Moreno. Some of the items featured in the suite included, Jewelry by PMogaji, designer blouses by AUM, Candles by Gold Canyon, the Fannie Lash, body and skincare by Reigning Beauties Natural Products, Herbal Life Skincare Systems, Handbags & Wallets by VG Designs, Milk & Brookies, Black Students Guide to Success by Author Roderick Claybrooks, M.D., socks and silk ties by M2 by Morvati and Nail art by celebrity nail design artist Nay Ching.

The Divas were also treated to a fabulous lunch prepared by Chef Stephan and Salt of the Earth catering which included, Thai Steak, Grilled Salmon with Citrus Salsa Verde, Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken, Rice Pilaf, Gourmet Green Beans, Green Salad and Fruit, Stephanie's Famous Lemonade, Pellegrino Water and Chardonnay and cupcakes featuring the faces of each Diva created by Cake Art of Los Angeles.

Some of the celebrity performers gifted from the suite were Sheryl Lee Ralph, Loretta Devine, Jenifer Lewis, recording artists Michelle Williams, Miche’le, Angie Fisher, Renee Lawless, Sylenna Johnson, Shalea, Kenny Lattimore, Alex Newell, Jamar Rogers, YouTube sensation, Auburn Road and supporter and presenter Judge Mablean Ephriam and Wendell James the official red carpet host for the big show to name a few.

Created and produced by Ralph, DIVAS Simply Singing! is an annual benefit concert, produced in conjunction with The DIVA Foundation, to help raise money and awareness about HIV/AIDS.  DIVAS Simply Singing!  is the longest consecutive running musical AIDS benefit concert in the country.  While raising awareness and erasing stigma, one song at a time, the organization's work assists AIDS organizations in Los Angeles and around the world. The DIVA Foundation is a national nonprofit 501c (3) charitable organization founded by Sheryl Lee Ralph in 1990, as a memorial to the many friends she lost to HIV/AIDS while in the original Broadway company of Dreamgirls. The organization focuses on generating resources and coordinating activities that create awareness of and help combat against HIV/AIDS. In 2005, Sheryl Lee Ralph and the DIVA Foundation received the first ever Red Ribbon Leadership Award at the United Nations, on World AIDS Day, for the unique use of the arts in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
