Domestic Violence Fundraiser In Avondale

AVONDALE, Ariz. - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- FIG LEAF FILM & MEDIA MINSTRY OF ALLELUIA LUTHERAN CHURCH IN PHOENIX ARIZONA: October 31, 2014 A Trunk or Treat outreach will take place at Alleluia Lutheran Church for the children in the community at 7pm 8444 Encanto Phoenix AZ, and a filmed Costume Halloween Benefit Party will take place at a private residence poolside for Sojourner Center; they provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, domestic violence education, safety planning, lay-legal advocacy, case management, a child development center, 24-hour crisis hotline, referral services, community education and an on-site naturopathic clinic. On Friday October 31, 2014 at 8pm Fig Leaf Film & Media Ministry will have a fundraiser to benefit Domestic Violence Month and the homeless shelter for women with children, we are asking local major retailers to donate items for the silent auction and donations from those attending. This event will take place at the home of both Mychaeltodd Robinson the Executive Director of Fig Leaf Film and Media Ministry and Kevin Hokerk Executive Producer, a short film will be presented at the filmed event- with all the donors names attached, and a short film to follow after the event.
