ShadowLight Theatre Opens Doors in Arvada, Helps Youth in Need

Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- ShadowLight Theatre (http://shadowlighttheatre.com/), home of THE SILHOUETTES®, a performing arts studio in Arvada, Colo., opened its doors offering live performances and dance, acting, voice, tumbling and silks classes. Director Lynne Waggoner-Patton leads THE SILHOUETTES® from America’s Got Talent™ season six, with upcoming performances aimed at raising funds for children in need.

ShadowLight Theatre, home of THE SILHOUETTES®, offers season-themed, intricate shadow shape productions, including upcoming performances in 2014:

·         Hero’s Tribute, November 8 – 9, 2014 – A show honoring the men and women who serve in the military, and benefitting a military family in need

·         A Christmas Story, December 12 – 14, 2014 – A holiday extravaganza benefitting Mount Saint Vincent (https://www.msvhome.org/), a Denver-based non-profit treatment center for children

“We are excited to open our doors in Arvada with a mission to help children in need through our dance and music performances,” said Lynne Waggoner-Patton, director of ShadowLight Theatre. “Our program and performances are focused on reaching our audiences through positive messaging and the special art of shadow dancing. We are thrilled to bring THE SILHOUETTES® home to Arvada and Metro Denver.”

THE SILHOUETTES® have performed on the televised Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Show of Strength and created corporate productions for Microsoft, General Mills, Honda, Comcast, Ometz and Nancy Spielberg’s Children of Chernobyl, among others. THE SILHOUETTES® helped raise more than $400,000 to date for homeless children in the United States, and will continue to help in-need youth locally and nationally.

ShadowLight Theatre’s 12,363 square foot studio houses four training rooms, a private vocal room and a theatre with seating for up to 240 people. The studio is currently seeking sponsorships to further fund its charitable efforts.
