Chrysler Sales Soar Thanks to Jeep and RamChrysler group saw a sales increase of 22% for October, borne on the strength of Ram and Jeep models alone.
By: Bosak Motor Jeep models alone saw an increase of 52% over the previous years while Ram managed a 23% increase with the Ram pickup trucks seeing a rise of 33% over 2013. October 2014 was Jeep's best month ever, selling 55,198 vehicles and launching year-to-date sales up to 571,585 units. The Jeep Cherokee led the way for October with 15,715 units with the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee taking second and third place, respectively. Though it was a great month for both Jeep and Ram, that isn't meant to discount Chrysler or Dodge. The 2015 Chrysler 200 is finally coming into its own, showing a sales boost of 40% for October with 11,675 units sold. Additionally, the Dodge Dart went up 28% for a total of 7,207 units sold, for the biggest growth of any Dodge model! As a whole, Chrysler Group is doing quite well, with their year-to-date sales up over 15% at 1,726,539 vehicles sold, with the success of the Chrysler 200 promising even greater things to come. Of course, this is just par for the course for Chrysler, a brand that has enjoyed 55 straight months of year-over-year growth in sales numbers.
