Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa sponsors blood donation campaign

KUWAIT CITY - Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- The campaign was organised by the Pharaoh Bikers in collaboration with the Kuwait Central Blood Bank (KCBB). The event, which took place on Friday, 7 November 2014, attracted 200 donors from various participating bikers’ clubs, media, bloggers and the hotel’s management team.

Hakan Petek, General Manager, said: “We understand the importance of having a healthy supply of blood in the blood bank. We know thatas we are sponsoring this event, a patient in hospital is receiving a blood transfusion. We are confident that someday, somehow this event will help save lives and we are proud to be part of it.”

Ramez Adel, President of the Pharaoh Bikers group, said: “Our objective through this event is to support the humanitarian mission of the Central Blood Bank of Kuwait.

As part of the Bikers Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, we are keen on playing an active part in supporting the community, charity events and environmental activities.”

The hotel’s active participation in other CSR activities includes the World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the World Autism Awareness Day and the annual Earth Hour campaign.
