Calling All Decorators! The Promise in Glen Rose Hosts Tree Decorating Contest & Fundraiser

GLEN ROSE, Texas - Nov. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- With great excitement for the upcoming FREE Live Nativity Event - The Promise of Christmas, The Promise in Glen Rose, Inc. is announcing a fun and exciting way for the community to participate, and help The Promise raise funds for the 2015 season of the beloved theatrical ministry.

The Promise invites businesses, churches, organizations and individuals to donate a decorated miniature Christmas tree (no taller than 4’) to be auctioned during the Nativity event. They encourage you to “let your creativity shine”! Visitors to the Nativity event will choose the Patron’s Choice winner, while the tree that receives the highest bid at the auction held on The Promise’s website will also receive a special prize! All donors will be recognized on The Promise’s website ThePromiseGlenRose.com, through their social media, and email blasts. Registration for the contest ends December 10^th with the auction being held December 18^th – 20^th.

About The Promise of Christmas Live Nativity Event:

December 19^th, 20^th, and 21^st, The Promise will be hosting a FREE Live Nativity Event, The Promise of CHRISTmas. This event will be fun for the whole family with a guided walk through Nativity, live music, crafts, vendors, snow, photo booth, petting zoo, and more!  The Promise will be collecting nonperishable food items to support Somervell County Food Bank, donations of coats, socks and blankets, to support Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County, and begin fundraising efforts for the 2015 season of The Promise!
