Clampitt Paper Names New President

DALLAS - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX: Tom Christian has accepted the role of President of Clampitt Paper Company (http://www.clampitt.com/) effective December 1, 2014. In his 36 years with Clampitt he has held many leadership positions, most recently as Executive Vice President. “Tom’s commitment, wisdom and leadership have helped make Clampitt Paper Company the strong company it is today,” says company Chairman and CEO, Don Clampitt. “His understanding of our market and our business has helped us achieve many corporate successes through the years.”

        Christian says he is committed to “bringing even more bright people” into the company. “We have an exceptionally qualified sales team and hope to complement the mix with dynamic, enthusiastic recruits who will grow into the corporate leaders of tomorrow. We are adding new talented people and have identified a number of men and women in our under-30 staff who will be up and comers that we can train up now. It’s all going to be exciting.”

        Christian takes on the presidency as his predecessor, Don Crew, retires after 20 years with Clampitt. “Working right beside Don for the past 10 years has been a great experience,” Christian says. “He has done a tremendous job of keeping us growing, even as the industry has been shrinking. I have great respect for him.”

         Christian is a graduate of the University of Kansas and a resident of Dallas.
