Peachanda DuBoses’ “The List” To Show In Atlanta Metro Pre-Thanksgiving Holiday

DECATUR, Ga. - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Award winning Playwright and Peach Theatre Awards CEO, Peachanda DuBose, will tour her theatrical play “THE LIST” to the Atlanta metro area Thanksgiving eve, Wednesday 26th, November 2014, at the  Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center in hopes of bringing families and friends together prior to the holiday for pre-holiday entertainment and, what is sure to be a turning point in her career.

DuBose Brings to bear a stellar cast and has assembled such well known artist’s to include, actor/writer/director- Jason “Jboy” Carey, actress Stephanie Drake and featuring Atlanta’s own, multi-Award  winning Jazz Vocalist/Actress and Vocal Director, Theresa Hightower.

Author of two Books of Poetry: “Reflections of Me” & “Unbreakable” and Founder of Mayan Productions, Dubose is CEO of the official Playwrights Ball & Symposium/PEACH Theatre Awards ; an annual event that honors & educates the under recognized individuals in the theatre, television, film, and literary arts featuring educational workshops, networking, awards ceremony, and a newly added 10 minute theatre festival.  Nominated "Most Relevant 2014 "Bavarlee Bernstein" Award, nominated: 2015 "Best Black Female in The Arts" -Theatre Production/Black women in Jazz & The Arts Awards, DuBose will usher in this year’s awards presentation aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, February 27^th- March 2^nd.

This is not DuBoses’ first run around the field by any stretch.  She has stood on fertile proving grounds before with award winning Inspirational Plays- “Surrender”,  “Even a Wretch like Me”, ” Mr. Harold Behave” and “The Devil Thought he Had Me” (Best Real Life Drama in 2012)- and  is a “Three-Time” Winning recipient of the Editor’s Choice Award.

DuBoses’ next slate of projects ,“THE GREATS” A tribute musical in honor of our “Greats” who have passed on and “DIVERSE TEMPTATIONS” – a motion picture based on the her hit play, "EVEN A WRETCH LIKE ME”, are projected for production in Los Angeles, California in 2015.

With her current production which opened to rave reviews in her home base of North Carolina, Dubose is proud and honored that more than fifty percent of her cast members are based in the Atlanta metro area.
