Author Doug Cooper Wins 2014 USA Book News Award

LAS VEGAS - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – Author Doug Cooper won his second award for best literary fiction when USABookNews.com selected Outside In as the winner of the 2014 USA Book News Award For Literary Fiction. This follows the announcement of Outside In winning the 2014 International Book Award for Literary Fiction earlier this year in May.

Jeffrey Keen, President and CEO of USA Book News, said in a press release that this year’s contest yielded over 2000 entries for titles published in 2012-2014. Outside In is a look at one man’s belated coming of age that’s equally funny, earnest, romantic, and lamenting. Doug Cooper’s debut novel explores the modern search for responsibility and identify, showing through the eyes of Brad Shepherd how sometimes we can only come to understand who we truly are by becoming the person we’re not.
