MAREI’s First Annual Real Estate Investor Speed Networking to Benefit Toys for Tots

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Nov. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- :  Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors is happy to announce that their Annual Speed Networking Event is back.  We have not held the event for the past couple of years due to space constraints in our meeting room, but we are now in our New Location at the Holiday Inn at 8787 Reeder Road in Overland Park Kansas and we have the space to devote to Speed Networking.

What is Speed Networking?  We set up the chairs in such a way to allow every person to be across from another person.  When we begin, one person of each pair has 2 minutes to share who they are and what they do, need, etc.  A bell rings and the second person of the pair has 2 minutes to do the same.  Then a Bell rings and ½ the people shift over one seat.  Then we repeat the process.  The goal being to meet and connect with as many people as possible to then follow up or not later in the evening in the after hours networking or later in the week.  If you are a real estate investor or offer a product or service that the real estate investor might utilize, then you will want to be at this event.

When and Where:  This meeting is Tuesday December 9^th from 6 pm to 9 pm (or later if you attend the after hours networking) at the Holiday Inn at 8787 Reeder Road in Overland Park, Kansas.  For members of Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors there is no fee, we just ask that you RSVP on our Calendar of Events.  For Non-Members there is an at the door fee of $25 OR you can visit our Calendar of Events on our Website and Pre-Register for $15 and First Time Guests can print a guest pass to attend at no charge.  All Guest Fees to this December Meeting will be donated to Toys for Tots and we will be collecting Toys for Tots at the Meeting, so please also bring an unwrapped toy.
