Il Gufo launches “Design your dream dress” project at fun-filled soiree at the Dubai Mall Store

BUSINESS BAY, UAE - Nov. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Il Gufo, Italian premium children’s wear brand, welcomed parents and their children as well as members of the press at the flagship store in Dubai Mall. Attendees were able to view the dynamic collection for boys and girls which features multiple functional styles created with mix’n’match combination to ensure that perfect outfit for every occasion.

An evening for an entire family with kids animations and fun atmosphere. il Gufo invited children to enjoy mini workshops designed for boys and girls, while indulging in sweet treats. Young boys got an opportunity to design planes and cars, while the little girls designed friendship bracelets.

The highlight to compliment the event was the Il Gufo “Design your dream dress project”, a program engaging the young fashionistas to create their dream outfit. Each child received a blank silhouette sheet and crayons to create that masterpiece. The “Design your dream dress project” will run until 31^st December 2014 and the winner will get an opportunity to see the winning outfit produced in Italy and exhibited during the Pitti Bimbo 2015, children’s wear Expo in Firenze Italy.

Il Gufo’s Autumn/Winter Collection offers an abundance of styles, colours and mix of fabrics to children from ages 0 to 14 years old. The signature grosgrain is visible across the entire collection. It denotes sophistication and appeal to the presented designs. On little girls it acquires three-dimensionality because of the addition of flowers patterned into the fabric, while the two-tone version is present in the boys' garments with bands inserted into pockets and on the sides of the trousers. The band returns in boy's knitwear with taping: a technique typically used to waterproof seams, the material becomes a decorative element, able to break the monotony of wool.
