Fun Memories To Be Made At Triunfo YMCA Winter Camp

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, will host its annual holiday camp from December 22 through December 26 (closed December 25) and December 29 through January 2 (closed January 1). The camp coincides with winter school break.

         The camp will be held at the YMCA daycare facility at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills). Week one will include a Dr. Seuss-themed day, a juggling show, glow-in-the-dark slime project and sports play. Week two features a horseshoe tournament, a group castle building challenge, an international day and winter vegetable planting. "Every day has a specific theme," says Chrissy Withers, the Y's lead program director. “Our international day, for example, campers will take part in Norwegian paper braiding, a Chinese new year celebration and cooking Italian spaghetti and meatballs.”

         The camp is for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Camp hours (including before and after daycare) are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost is $182.50 per week.
