, California Prop 65 compliant flexible vinyl compounds designed for use in electrical molding applications. With the addition of DINP, a commonly used plasticizer, to California Prop 65’s list of potentially hazardous chemicals, Sylvin recognized the need for a high performance product that satisfies stringent regulatory requirements.

range in hardness from 60 Shore A to 95 Shore C and all are approved to UL 94 with an HB flame rating. The series was developed for injection molding, and is suitable for various electrical applications such as power supply cords and strain reliefs. The 7844 series compounds can be custom colored to meet exact customer preferences, and are available in amounts ranging from 50 pounds to truckload quantities.
