COLUMBUS, Ohio - Jan. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Badgley Publishing Company is proud to announce the publication of a wonderful book of short stories titled “All the World’s a Stage” authored by Diana Hannon Forrester of Grove City, Ohio.  Diana is also the author of “Where Have All the Flowers Gone”.

William Shakespeare had it exactly right when he wrote, “All the World’s a Stage” for the first line of his play “As You Like It”, Act II, Scene VII.   Whether we know it or not all of us are on stage and we are all living in our own stories. Some of them are sad; some of them are funny and some of them make us think about why we are here. Some of them linger with us long after they are read. We go back to them time and again trying to figure out why they’ve lingered so. Those are the very best ones.

Nothing is more elegant than a well-crafted short story and Diana, who has studied with Alex Keegan, John Ravenscroft, Sylvia Petter, Mimi Carmen, has created some of the best.  The author says, “I think short stories are the most difficult type of writing an author can do. Well, maybe except for poetry, novels and essays.  Writing is hard.  Writing is fun.  It brings out what is happening on your stage at the moment whether you know it or not. Yet it remains fiction and the writer gets to play many parts unavailable to her in real life.”

“All the World’s a Stage” is available in all formats and can be viewed with purchasing options shown at the publisher’s website:
