New Book Created By 5-Star Author Rhoda Fegan

Rhoda's work is based on her Christian faith and values and this book reflects the life of her husband, John Fegan, a Vietnam Veteran who struggled with and ultimately succumbed to the effects of his exposure to Agent Orange, a chemical defoliant, napalm, and other chemicals used by the U.S. Government during the war in Vietnam.  Rhoda's short summary of the book is as follows:

"John wanted to be healed from his bone marrow disease so he could be a living testimony of the power of God in a veteran ministry. However, this was not God's sovereign will for him.

As a veteran believer, John wanted to tell you his story individually and to let you know the difference God made in his life's journey. The difference God made in getting him up every day, facing the day, and seeing the day come to an end. He'd tell you not to be afraid of dying; but to be very afraid of living without God in your life; and to fear eternity without God.

It is my hope and prayer in writing about John's life journey into eternity that he can reach the veterans and other people that God always intended and that his journey will help and comfort those he wanted to reach.  It includes our journal of his stem cell transplant experience, our prayers, actions, and reactions to the complications, surgeries, treatments, and therapies he endured before he was called home. So, a record of our daily struggles and experiences with God in the valley of darkness; living in Arizona away from our home and family; and John's difficult ascent from the valley of darkness and death to the mountaintop where he was received forever home by our God.

This book is for all God's children who are struggling with this business of living; enduring through hard circumstances; and in making life and death choices, especially veterans, because John understood that serving our government was an honorable choice, just not an easy one, even after leaving the service.  He can't tell you his story in person but I will in order to honor God and John."
