LPU Pro Chancellor honoured with prestigious national ‘Mother Teresa Sadbhavana Award’

JALANDHAR, India - Jan. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- In recognition of outstanding achievements made in the field of higher education, LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rahmi Mittal has been honoured with prestigious national Mother Teresa Sadbhavana Award. This award is given to the people & organization which work incessantly and take lead in the contemporary social system, services & quality achievements throughout India. The award ceremony was organized by Global Achievers Foundation (GAF) at its 39^th National Seminar.  This seminar on ‘Individual Contribution for National Unity & Economic Growth’ was held at Speakers Hall Annexe-Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The award is presented after the nomination referred by the National Selection Committee Advisory Board & careful going through the interview session & achievements in the respective field.

The coveted award cover areas including education, medicine, higher school education, university or social service all over India. The award ceremony was witnessed by a host of dignitaries, and the awards were presented to only two persons from Punjab by the distinguished Guests.  The important guests included Former Director CBI (India) S Joginder Singh, IPS (Retd), Former Ambassador/Diplomat Dr VB Soni IFS (Retd) and more. Awardees from far-flung areas such as Manipur, Maharashtra, AP, Tamil Nadu and Sikkim also participated. Former Director CBI was all praise for the awardees.
