And Popped's owners will donate a portion of the afternoon's proceeds to Baby's Bounty, a local non profit providing essential items for newborns. Baby's Bounty will be pre-selling Oh Baby! Tea tickets and accepting donations during the event. Video interview with Kim Amato of Baby's Bounty: http://youtu.be/ "My friend Hillary Steinberg got me involved in Baby's Bounty last year," Furman said. "I served on the 2014 Oh Baby! Tea committee and wanted to give back in a meaningful way this year. I'm a huge fan of popcorn so hosting a National Popcorn Day fundraiser to benefit Baby's Bounty at Popped's new west side location is what I like to call fun philanthropy. As my friends from Focus Financial Partners, a UBS office, reported - the giving gene is alive in Las Vegas and beyond. Our event transcends checkbook philanthropy. We're accepting donations of new baby items as well." End
