By: Metroboard of the Chicago Urban League Board Top Chicago young professionals auxiliary inspire teens to make healthy life choices through Teen Build 2015: Young, Black and Ambitious the Teen Edition The Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League (Metroboard) Teen Build 2015: Young, Black and Ambitious the Teen Edition will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 8AM – 4:30PM at Butler College Prep High School - 821 E. 103rd Street, Chicago, IL. Metroboard is committed to promoting and supporting the ideas and goals of the Urban League movement in Chicago through community outreach, fundraising and membership development. "We're continually taking the conversation of healthy choices to the next level amongst our teens," said Jason W. Johnson President of the Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League. “Teen Build is more than just an avenue to provide awareness on healthy life choice topics and build self-esteem, but a way to motivate teens to join a peer-to-peer mentoring conference inspiring other teens to make responsible decisions.” Admission is free and open to high school students across Chicagoland, visit https://teenbuild2015.eventbrite.com to register.
