University of Wolverhampton which has a long and cherished history dating back to Wolverhampton's Mechanics' Institute and College of Art in the mid-1800s gained University status in 1992. It is one of the leading institutions and a major player in the UK higher education sector, contributing to knowledge transfer, economic development, wealth creation and social justice. The university has 18 different schools housed in 4 main faculties namely Faculty of Science & Engineering, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Education, Health & wellbeing. Wolverhampton University’s Centre for International Development and Training has a solid track record of supporting universities to strengthen their curricula, and is renowned for the delivery of high quality courses in Continuing Professional Development to mid-level and senior practitioners and managers. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sangam University and Lodz University of Technology has been signed with the objective of fostering collaboration between the two institutions to promote academic and research interactions as well as scientific cooperation.
