Give Back To The O.c. Community

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Jan. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Orange County, CA – On February, 2^nd, 2015, the YMCA of Orange County is kicking off its annual campaign, which ensures that everyone in Orange County has access to local programs and resources supporting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The YMCA of Orange County strives to give support to neighborhoods in need of health and wellness programs for youth, adults, and seniors; Adventure Guide programs which facilitate family bonding and local events to help the community grow stronger together. Last year, charitable gifts from donors made it possible for the YMCA of Orange County to serve over 60,000 people with over 1 million dollars in contributions.

“The YMCA’s Adventure Guides program has allowed my family to create memories, building confidence, and instill values in my young daughters that will last a lifetime. My family fundraises for the YMCA so that others may have the chance to benefit from the experiences, enrichment, and support provided by the YMCA,” says Ken Cruse, an Adventure Guides program Dad at the Laguna Niguel YMCA.

This year, the YMCA of Orange County hopes to raise $634,000. All funds raised will directly support scholarships and financial aid for our neighbors in need.
